How do I deal with my fear of false accusations? I used to be a very social person. I went out at night and hung around friends and had a good time. But with the recent increase in men being falsely accused (see doordash girl), my fears have intensified. I became more isolated as a result of getting sober, and I haven’t moved on with my life because I’m too afraid that I’ll be accused of SA for just looking in a woman’s direction. This fear is affecting my ability to leave the house and socialize, so I need some advice on getting through it.

As someone who has had this happen multiple times before the only way is to wear a body camera and avoid women at all costs.

If you are not someone that comes in contact with a lot of women in rotation (ie a uber driver) or someone in a position of power, chances of something happening are very low

I actually had a dream or nightmare about this last night. I was crying, and then this girl came asking me what’s wrong, and I tried saying I was okay, but she kept on pushing, so I told her, and while comforting me, when I tried to hug her, she pushed me away, and then she accused me of rape or SA. Really scary. Messed up dream I had when I was so vulnerable. She looked like an irl version of Felt from Re Zero if anyone curious.
