I am female and have talked to this guy for two days now and I think he is being fake nice. He is being nice in a general way which is suspicious and he is already hearting messages of mine. How do I tell if he is being fake or not?

Consistency over time , that's it. Just give consistent time and energy , respect your time and his, and track his behaviour over time. There isn't any way to know unless they blow their cover, people can fake anything in the short term. So just protect yourself as your gather data
Honestly, just trust your gut. Sometimes our suspicions can be a little misguided, but sometimes it's dead-on. I would consider not letting this person take up too much of your mental energy. If you are someone who gets paranoid with people like this often, I would say that I hope you find more relationships that help you trust more, but also help you have a good example of what kind of people exemplify qualities that are trustworthy. You actually don't have to trust any new person in you life if you don't want to. Just proceed forward and live your life.
