I want to make a psychiatrist appointment and get my ADHD diagnosed (I'm 99% sure I have it). There are two available channels: a phone call and an email. I won't be calling them, because I'm a zoomer. But I have several questions regarding the email nonetheless.>Should I email the reception or the doctor directly?>Should I specify I'm looking for an ADHD evaluation?>Should I include details about my condition?>What should I not include to avoid being dismissed as someone only seeking drugs?Any help is much appreciated.
>>34066225>adhdCaused by parasites and toxins.
>>34066289Not an answer to my question.
>>34066225You need to call, not send an email. Contact reception; they manage appointments. Yes, say that you're looking for an ADHD assessment. Don't go into details unless they ask: it will be actually at the appointment that you'll be talking about this (taking with the doctor, not reception). Don't mention taking illegal drugs, or trying to lose weight.
>>34066225Id you're an am*rican, focus on getting the drugs. It should be straightforward.
>>34067976I don't want to call. The reviews say the receptionist is mean.
