I want to make a psychiatrist appointment and get my ADHD diagnosed (I'm 99% sure I have it). There are two available channels: a phone call and an email. I won't be calling them, because I'm a zoomer. But I have several questions regarding the email nonetheless.
>Should I email the reception or the doctor directly?
>Should I specify I'm looking for an ADHD evaluation?
>Should I include details about my condition?
>What should I not include to avoid being dismissed as someone only seeking drugs?
Any help is much appreciated.

Not an answer to my question.

You need to call, not send an email. Contact reception; they manage appointments. Yes, say that you're looking for an ADHD assessment. Don't go into details unless they ask: it will be actually at the appointment that you'll be talking about this (taking with the doctor, not reception). Don't mention taking illegal drugs, or trying to lose weight.

Id you're an am*rican, focus on getting the drugs. It should be straightforward.

I don't want to call. The reviews say the receptionist is mean.
