After the latest blowout with the narcissistic den of vipers I call my family I don't really feel like spending a prolonged period cooped up with them.I'll probably go to midnight Mass, sleep in Christmas morning, and make myself a nice sumptuous prime rib roast for Christmas dinner while nipping from a bottle of something good. In between I might go visit some local friends, maybe bring over food or presents.I like to just marathon old (pre-2000s or early 2000s the latest) movies I haven't seen yet on New Year's Eve. I've gotten over wanting to go out and do all that.
