I've avoided going to the doctor for 10+ years due to severe social anxiety and I have some very concerning health issues that have been causing me constant pain and discomfort for a long time. Should I even bother going to a doctor at this point or keep avoiding it until I drop dead?
>>34079838It’s understandable to have fear of getting a doctor checkup. Yes, absolutely you need to go if you’ve been in constant pain. That’s not normal, and either way, either it’s something small and you get it fixed finally and have some relief, or if it’s. A big thing you’ll have to undergo more serious treatment, but still the issue will get resolved and you will end up feeling better than you do now presumably. Whether it would be preferable to just drop dead depends on if you’re suicidal or have any will to live, any passion for life. Id say go now and report back to us on the doctors findings.
>>34079838Embarrassment can’t kill you. missing a vital diagnosis all because you were too scared of public opinion, that will get you killed.
>>34079838Go see a doctor, anon. Believe me, they've heard it all. You are not the first and you will not be the last person they've listened to. Go see a doctor so that you don't die embarrassingly from easily treatable conditions
>>34079838You need to go to a doctor for your social anxiety kek
>>34079838I wish I could be more understanding, I know we all make mistakes at some point. But truth be told, you guys have to start figuring stuff by yourself at some point...>I have some very concerning health issues>Should I go to the doctor???Like... Nigga...yeah you should go to the doctor.
>>34079879>he thinks doctors actually help peoplelmao
>>34079838My ex did this. Died at 40 from liver failure (heavy drinker) Just go for it, drop dead. Doctors are just going in the other room and looking at web MD anyway.
>>34082342How did he die? Like I know you said liver failure, but what were his last days like? Did he look yellow with red eyes? Was he able to move or talk?! I imagine maybe he acted loopy because ammonia build up in the blood? I ask because I just had a close friend die from alcoholism at 27. He drank a lot a lot. By the time he finally gave in and went to the doctor, it was too late.
>>34082529She was looking kind of yellow in the later pics. She was functional the whole time, but went to the hospital and died there suddenly. You couldn't tell if someone like that is loopy because they are drinking like a handle of vodka daily. There is a certain kind of belly fat that is a good sign of liver damage though and she did have some of that.
