I'm really in love with this woman, not just as a potential partner but simply as a human being. I love her so much I don't even think a rejection would bother me. I simply have to tell her how I feel. But I'm not sure if I should just.. come out and say it. I wrote her this poem, but I don't know if that's too tacky or cringe. I don't know if I should read it to her or just give it to her to read. I feel like I should show confidence and read it myself. But maybe I shouldn't show it to her at all. What do you guys think?
>>
Read it to her. You say you don't care about rejection, so I don't see why not. Cringe or not, it is going to be a worthwhile experience.

If you're already talking to her on the regular to say you can go tell her a poem, then you have nothing to lose. If she rejects you it's because of her circumstance. Just remember you write for yourself, reading her something will never change her moral compass or outlook on life.

>Don't care about rejection
Well I'd still like to give myself as good a chance as possible, I don't wanna give her the ick. But I think you're right, I think that's the best choice.

well reading it to her exposes you to a lot of cringe, i would save that for the time you're sure she wants your affection

>>
>>34082331
I said "I wrote a poem for you, do you wanna hear it?" And she said "No." That's literally it lmao

it wasnt meant to be, son. youll recover from the sting of rejection faster than the lingering aches of not knowing. youll find someone with an old fashioned heart that matches yours some day
>>
this is a big nope for women, just say you like her verbally and accept the rejection, you write letters when you're already a couple

Thanks for the support, anon. I do feel a little better already

>I simply have to tell her how I feel
Good
>I simply must write poetry
If you weren't on this website that might be adorable
