There were complications during my wife's second pregnancy and the doctors had to perform a C section. Last night we tried to have sex for the first time after she gave birth, and she kept covering her scar with her hand, almost like she was ashamed of it. I didn't say anything, but every time I tried to gently move her hand away, she put it back. I truly don't mind the scar and it hasn't affected my attraction to her at all, but it’'s clearly affecting how she feels about herself. I feel like maybe we should talk about it but she keeps changing topics when i try to talk about it.

Decades later I'm still conscious about them.I suggest having sex when it's very dark in the room so she gets comfortable with you being near the scar. Do that a few times, then do it with a little more light in the room. She'll get there.

For a few months anything brushing against the scar or surrounding area hurt. The baby crawling on top of my stomach was hell. I had to get a new set of dresses that don't irrate me.Its my experience. Might not be what she's experiencing.

Also, let her come to terms with her new body. Also, the scar is going to heal and be less visible over time. Also, you could buy or make some kind of stomach strap that would hide the scar when she's nude with you. This way she knows you are on the same side.
