Foi no /soc/ e ela virou o amor da minha vida. É autista que nem eu

American-Thai long distance here. Visit her as often as you can. Learn the language (whichever one it is). Always say yes to new cultural experiences. Sext as frequently as you possibly can. Never argue over dumb stuff. Give each other space when space is needed.

Make her feel special and work out a plan for spending the rest of your lives together. Many people do it anon. It’s becoming a normal thing.

I'm going to break the visit virginity this year, but I don't know where. Plane ticket to her is 7-14k my currency. We plan to meet in Berlin. Would that work? It'd mean that I can visit her once a year tops.

Seems difficult to me and also unrealistic but maybe it could work. I spend two full months of the year minimum with my girlfriend (actually wife now).

I do think you need to figure out an actual plan. Meeting in some random country once every year for like a week or two is not a sustainable relationship. You’re just pen pals at that point.

She's fine with it. Do you think it's immaturity on her end because of her being 18, almost 19, and me being 20?

Main hamper on me doing that is because I am a student. I plan on marrying her religiously early.

Is she into Christianity? A lot of Buddhist countries and people think that shit is dumb as fuck.

I mean she might be into it because she sees you as her best option but in general it seems like a bad idea. Especially if you’re marrying a girl from a completely different culture, you should spend some significant amounts of time in her country, and with her specifically to see what she’s actually like before making a huge decision like marriage. You also need to meet her family, etc.

Agnostic. Her parents are Catholic-leaning and have some kind of shrine for the Pope.

Do you think marriage after one or two meetings is a bust, then?

Many people marry on the first meeting. I just personally think it’s risky. You’re not only marrying someone you don’t know very well in person, but marrying into a culture you’re not that familiar with. But I guess it depends on your risk tolerance. SEA marriages in general tend to last longer than most other marriages.

If her family is Christian you’re probably fine then.

What do you think would be the best plan for me given all I've said here?
