Hey guys I'm in a tricky spot right now. I'm a 21 year old guy but I'm basically living the life of an 11 year old because of how behind I am. Current living situation is as follows:
>$7K in the bank
>minimum wage goycattle job
>living with grandfather rent free, he pays for nearly all my meals and car insurance
>mom pays cell phone plan
>no substantial work experience or noteworthy qualities
>no life prospects
>social isolation
I hardly ever interact with my grandpa so it's as if I live all to myself. Honestly this life has its perks but I'll tell you what man, it wears on the soul. Some people just aren't built for neetdom. And it could all be taken away in an instant if anything were to happen to my family. This leads to my main concern, I'm very behind in life and I just don't know what the hell to do. My own father is literally in a worse position than I am, and he's not even self aware about it. He's literally a fat friendless retard who lives off of government assistance and taco bell. I would sooner jump off a cliff than end up like that useless faggot. But if things continue this way that's gonna be me in 20 years. Where do I start?

7k in the bank is enough of a safety nest for someone who has to pay 0 rent. Start putting your savings in an s&p 500 ETF and put your safety nest in a high yield savings account.

Work your slop job full time to maximize your savings and time out of the house. Do your elders' chores to show respect. Start figuring out an industry that you will do well in to increase your pay.

So get a job.

Thank you for the advice. If you don’t mind me asking what exactly is an s&p 500 ETF?

7K isn’t shit, if my car breaks down I’m fucked. And my peers mog me financially, my one friend is guaranteed to start making 6 figures once he graduates. Meanwhile I’m still living off of mommy’s money and I’m afraid of the world, lacking any starting point. I’m not sure what you’d classify as “normal” but I can assure you that’s not me. Everyone I know who is my age is in a better spot in life than I am, which is why I felt the need to make this thread in the first place.

Stop being a faggot and listen to this anon. But based on your response you don’t want advice, nor would you even listen to good advice even if it were nicely lubed and personally shoved up your ass. Sounds like you’d rather play dumb and come up with useless what ifs and what is “normal”.
