I'm considering starting over and pursuing a degree in History and Museum Studies. What holds me back is my age. I'm in my 30s now and it feels too late to change direction. I'm also unsure about the job market in this field which makes the decision even harder. What should I do?

History is absolutely cut throat and Yale valedictorians have trouble getting adjunct professorships at Wyoming State University

if you don't have a connection and prestige as a world changing genius there's no path forward in humanities
