Couch recommendations for someone who is extremely morbidly obese? I go through like 2 of them a year and I wanna get something that will last.
>>34144520buy a treadmill instead of couch. at least walk while watching tv bro
>>34144532I'm above the weight limit for every treadmill unfortunately.
>>34144520You're probably going to be better off looking for a chair rather than a couch. If you were in the UK I would suggest an A J Way "Jersey" or "Waddesdon" chair - the former is rated up to 700 pounds. I'm sure there must be an American equivalent; Google for "bariatric recliner" and see what comes up.
>>34144555Unfortunately most of the bariatric recliners only go up to like 750 pounds
>>34144558If you actually weigh more than 750 pounds then it's unlikely *any* commonly sold chair or couch will be able to handle that kind of load. You probably need to be looking at medical equipment rather than furniture.
>>34144572I think you're right. Right now I have a mattress laying on some cinder blocks but one of them is starting to crack.
Another UK option: https://uk.pineapplecontracts.com/product/orr-plus-sofas/It's rated for an 1100lb "static load", whatever that means.
>>34144520I don't want to be unkind, but have you actually considered a gastric bypass? Or are you so big now that surgery is no longer possible?
