I tried to do it but I got criticism from peers and the supporters just said I am not stroking my head enough.
Is 4chan therapy real ??1? Why are we appending the memew
>>34145592Ord therapy onto everythingAlso oops (auto) b4 I could finish
>>34145455If you're actually serious about this, let me just tell you to stop being a tard.Years ago, when I was a redditor, i found a subreddit called r/nopoo, which advocated for not using shampoo. It was filled with attentionwhores posting selfies with perfect hair.So I did it once and my mum immediately asked me why my hair was still greasy. Thats when I learned that sometimes dumb people accumulate on the net and sometimes the normies are just right.
it's been working great for me for over 5 years. first two weeks I was pretty greasy, but I was on vacation in costa rica for most of it so I didn't mind
>>34145455A few years ago I went to this hairdresser that claimed she hadn't washed her hair in months. She was kind of hot and her hair looked fine and it didn't smell or anything. Then I Googled it and found the /r/nopoo subreddit. The anon that said she tried it is obviously a liar. The first rule of no shampoo is your hair will be greasy for a week or 2 and then it's fine. Shampooing multiple times a week is a recent thing that's sold by advertisers trying to sell more shampoo bottles. If I didn't put product in my hair I probably would go longer without washing it and no one would notice.
>>34146414>The first rule of no shampoo is your hair will be greasy for a week or 2 and then it's fine.I'm gonna need a sauce for that claim. You probably think that deodorants are patriarchal oppression. We should all join the freebleeder movement, amirite, sisters? Why not just manifest your hair becoming clean?Seriously, oil doesnt dissolve in water. If you want clean hair, you need soap. Its a simple principle, I dont see any way to get arojnd it.
>>34146483I'm a guy and I never tried not shampooing my hair for months. Ask ChatGPT about how often people washed their hair in the 1970's or something fucking moron. I also straightened my hair in the 2000's and had to shampoo/condition it daily.>if you want clean hairwell yes are you rolling in the mud on a daily basis?
>>34146530>well yes are you rolling in the mud on a daily basis?I don't and yet I will start stinking if I don't use soap. Are you telling me I can just rinse in water and I will stop smelling after two weeks?Or what's supposed to be the difference between the sweat and oil on my skin and on my hair? And why are you disagreeing with me if you also use shampoo?
>>34146554Mmm maybe my post wasn't clear enough. My point was that overshampooing is unnecessary and likely bad in the long term especially if you're a dude and you might like you know go bald at some point. Shampoo is good but most people overuse it. If I start washing my hair with shampoo 3-4 x a week it will get greasy way faster and look worse in general. Both extremes are bad is what I'm saying.
>>34145455I tried it but after like 3 weeks my scalp was so fucking itchy and my hair felt like shit so I quit. I'll never actually know if I didn't give it enough time or it's bullshit. I suspect it only works for some people. I do only wash it once or twice a week now though.
>>34146569Still don't get why shampoo would make your hair get greasier faster. I guess some cheap types of shampoo might be bad, and I know skin can dry out if you use too much soap...
>>34146588Because it removes naturally protective oils or something IDK dude I looked this up like a decade ago when I was experimenting to see what would make my hair look the best.
>>34145455yes, but you don't have to go no shampoo at all, you mainly just want to avoid sulfates and alcohols in shampoo/conditioner. i started in 2017 when i first read about it and it said it would take a month or two to show results, only used commercial shampoo once ever since due to emergency and i had to wait a full month after to feel the same.honestly i recommended it to a bunch of people and those who stuck with it never went back to commercial shampoo, natural body oils take a while to readjust, at the start you will have no oil, then too much oil, then it will stabilize, brushing it does help spread the oil. also research your hair type not all hair types benefit, mines wavy with a bit of curl and it really made a difference for me, grew it out in 2015 and had a tough time maintaining it until i went no sulfate/alcohol lastly don't go no shampoo at all unless you want to be stinky, home made smells like shit or too girly
