How to deal with being way behind on basic life problems as a 40+ year old unc when everyone else with these problems is 18-28?
>>34147794just learn to love the process, and console yourself with the fact you won't have to be around to experience your ultimate failure because you'll likely shuffle loose the mortal coil before you get even halfway to your goals
>>34147794Compare yourself to previous versions of yourself and let go of comparisons of other people. Even if you had done everything right, we're making $100k>, house, wife, kids, hobbies and friends there is ALWAYS someone who appears to be doing better than you, that's the nature of comparison and social media amplifies it.Remind yourself that you're doing it now, and that means something. Keep doing it, would you rather be 45 and just starting? 50? 60? Now is always better than never. In true do what I say not as I do fashion, I'm almost 32 and in your same boat, petrified of having to touch that hot stove. I bet you wish you'd done what your doing now at 32 then 40, so keep that mindset. Better 40 then 41, friend! You can do it and I believe in you.
