I never went to college. Did I miss out?

I won't read life goals threads that make no mention of life goals. OP is probably a drifter who chases momentary appetites and that means nothing can be done to help him.

What work do you want to do?
Unless it's an academic field all you missed was a lot of immature kids being foolish away from Mom and dad.
At least for me college was a lot of people growing up quickly or showing how bad at being independent they are.

I used to think so, but now I am old and don’t give a crap. More money, more problems for people with money problems, regardless of how much they make. You can flip burgers and die a millionaire, never working OT, if you wanna. Maybe you should have but it’s okay you didn’t.

I think he was referring to the college experience rather than the post-college career considering his phrasing.

On some experiences yes, on others no. Enjoy having no debt

It's great for some people, and not for others. It's a great way to transition between being a child and being an adult: you have much more freedom than you did in high school, but it's still sufficiently structured that you don't have to completely fend for yourself: there's a place to stay, there are concerts to go to, cheap bar prices, lots of social events, amateur stage productions to audition for, orchestras to play in, societies to join, movies to watch, etc. And the friends people make at college are often the people you remain friends with for life (unlike high school friends whom you'll probably never speak to again after you graduate).

On the other other hand, if you're not capable of making friends or normal social connections, it can be a desperately lonely place.

No most people we look up to didn't in fact go to college. Johnny Depp for example.

No one looks up to Johnny Depp.

Go back and get a business degree. You'll thank me in the future. (To troll) Unless of course YOU'RE FUCKING IMMATURE AND CLOSED MINDED TOO BUSY WITH A DICK IN YOUR MOUTH TO DO ANYTHING!
