20 year old retard hereGot lucky enough to have a middle school fren group that I am still frenz with somehow but every single time i hang with them boredom hits about 30 minutes in regardless of what we do and I want to leave immediately.Also I avoid money hangouts related to money cause there is no reason to earn money as a 20 year old in 2026, only thing you need for survival is food drip fed to you.The worst part is hangouts were slightly more fun when you are a teen just cause of the novelty but it wore off and realizing every human you meet will be boring to deal with eventually.My advice here is what the hell could be causing immense boredom here or are zoomers just that cookie-cutter and by the books? even my edgy frenz aren't that edgy enough so idk nothing seems to work anymore??

to add further to this, this even applies to people I have known online for years tooonce i haven't talked to somebody/a group of people in a while i basically have to rebuild myself from the ground up.
When you hang out with friends what do you do? If it's just sitting around at one of your places and watching youtube videos or something, that's boring. Engaging in activities or hobbies, going on walks and having conversations, seeing films, concerts, exploring, is more interesting. You might be bored because you don't try to make things interesting or exciting.

You are so young and the world is your oyster. I know people your age who are optimistic and hopeful, amongst others who view everything as doom and gloom. I don't think that's defined by your generation either. I know millennials and older people who look at life the same way, and that's the world that reflects back at them. The ones who choose to live and enjoy living and see the beauty in the world are the ones who are fun to be around and talk to.
Common experience once you're no longer in a common environment like school there ends up being nothing to really talk about and so it gets boring pretty quickly. Unless you actually enjoy doing some activity together liek video games, bowling, fishing.

Because humans are social creatures, not wanting to hang out with people is fine; actively avoiding socialization because of a distaste towards other humans means something is wrong with you. You're not "quirk" or "special" or "unique", you're defective and failed at the only necessary requirement of being human.

I spent like two hours at a bar yesterday with this one friend just talking over drinks. Then another two hours at a different bar with two other friends. We didn't do anything. Just sitting around drinking. Theres a few friends that if i hung out with them one on one itd be boring and we wouldn't really be able to have a good talk because we just dont connect. Others i do. Its not easy to find people you connect with.
