im 21 and have suffered hair loss past the point of medical treatment (besides transplant and im a broke wagie so not happening for now), would a hair system even be worth it? it seems like a massive headache/liability but might be worth it in the long run, i simply dont wanna look like a thumb its incredibly humiliating when all the other men my age have nice well maintained hair and im stuck looking like a sentient egg, a hair system seems like the only decent option for my situation but please indulge me anons
>>34210010Can't you try it out for a month? Buy a stock unit online (~$200-$350) and have a local barber install it if you're not comfortable with the DIY route. You won't know for sure until you have one on your head.
>for worksure whatever>for womenabsolute worstconstant display of insecurity AND cheapness
>>34210142prolly what ima do but if it ends up being a waste of time ill be extremely disappointed
>>34210148part of me believes they'd honestly prefer it over straight up baldness, like a mediocre middle ground between bald and having actual hair, but thats wishful thinking
>>34210010That one sucks. It works better if you blend it with your real hair. I recommend tape instead of glue, btw.I have one and it's good. Same as you, I started balding around 18. I fool people with it, genuinely, and it looks pretty good.>>34210148>women would prefer George Costanza to a convincing hairpieceYou are dumb. It is just aesthetics. Women wear hairpieces too. (inb4 "then it's gay")If you don't want to look insecure, don't be insecure. I'll tell anyone who asks, and I just call it a wig instead of a euphemistic "hair system".
How did you lose your hair at 21?
>>34210558NTA but genetics. What's the other option? If it's from chemo, anon would just request a gf from make-a-wish.
>>34210558i lived in a hillbilly trap house with my schizo mom growing up, i believe the constant stress is what put me on the ropes since it got noticable at age 16
>>34210148>not wanting to attract hot womenfaggot
Why not simply shave it off and then buy a mattifying cream, that's the only thing you can do. If a foid rejects you because of hair then she is a subhuman not worth your time anyway.
>>34210010What have you tried? I was going bald on my crown to the point where there was almost no hair. I tried minoxidil on a whim 2-3 months ago and it's shown very good results. I know that it's rare for it to work as well as it did for me, but it's worth a shot. You can get it for pretty cheat at Costco(check to see if they have it in warehouse, you might have to buy it online).
>>34210010At your age and assuming you are actually as bald as picrel, I'd say go for it if you can afford it. The only way a woman can make you feel insecure about your hair system is if you allow them to. Own your hair system and if a woman has an issue with it, on to the next. You're 21. Assuming you go to college, there are literal 1000s of women there. Unless you cheat on some girl and really piss her off, no one is ever going to find out about your hair system unless you are actively taking it off around the women you date. Also, there is absolutely no reason to disclose your hair system because women your age don't need to know. You can either be:1) Confident and rock the bald look but be at a huge disadvantage when it comes to the women your age that will open to dating a bald guy.2) Confident and rock the hair system and be at a much higher advantage than you would be if bald.3) Be bald and insecure about it.
>>34211498>post pic of a 17yo in the baldlet threadi can't even
>>34210010Make baldness your image. Wear ir with style
Tried both. The rate of bald men is near 50% now.
Its so bizarre seeing a noticeably 30-and-over, doughy, wrinkly, overall shlubby dude with the turkish hairline job or a hair system like this. Even if you spent a billion bucks on it, the incongruity is what makes you look fucked up, not the quality of the surgery/toupee itself; a dude approaching middle age isn't supposed to have the hairline of a kid. Same shit with goofy, grossly white, overly perfect veneers or any trendy plastic surgery shit women get
>>34215005Having hair protects you from sunlight and cold.Sometimes it's not about fashion
>>34215017So does a hat
>>34215020You can't run your fingers through hair if you're baldIt's quite comfy if you got a medium hair
>>34215034She wouldn't be running fingers through your hair either way strictly speaking, she's either touching your bare scalp or the donor hair that your toupee would be made out of
>>34215034>You can't run your fingers through hair if you're baldwhat do you think pubes r 4?
>>34215043Fair. I guess it's not the same sensation.I mostly mean myself doing it. I quite like the sensation. Thankfully genetics are on my side.
