So there's this coworker of mine. Let's call him...screw it, I don't care, his real name is Roy, though I'm not giving out his last name for respect of basic privacy reasons. Ironically or not he looks and acts pretty similar to Roy from The Office in the picrel.Either way, Roy is an absolutely insufferable douche. He always makes it his goal to mock everyone and anyone in the workplace and his jokes aren't even funny, they're just incredibly obnoxious. It seems his brand of humor is annoying people and seeing how they react, so as you can imagine only fun for him and no one else.We've tried bringing this up to the boss as well as HR but apparently the boss really likes Roy because Roy is the child of a close friend of the boss and refuses to fire him.But anyway, examples I guess. I got back from a beach vacation and had gotten extremely tan and was having a pleasant conversation with my other coworkers and then Roy comes in and goes like: "HAhaha looKIN a little TOAstY!" and does this really obnoxious mocking laugh. And I tell him straight up: "Shut the fuck up Roy NOBODY LIKES YOU!" and this only makes me laugh harder.Another one. A female coworker had just gotten pregnant and her belly was growing and Roy walked by her and said: "Wow I've never seen you lookin' so SKiNnY HAAAAA!"One more. Another coworker's cat had just died and he was venting about it and suddenly Roy walked by and said: "Oh don't be sad you just did the CHiNeSe a hUUUUge favor hAhAHa!"So as you can tell he basically goes for the low hanging fruit stuff and people tell him to fuck off and he finds it hilarious.Me and everyone else are almost considering quitting our jobs because of Roy, we really can't take him anymore. Never knew a man in his fucking 30s could be so obnoxious. My niece isn't even this annoying and she's 4 years old. I'm already sick of life in general and this Roy making my work life hell is really making me want to kill myself. Not sure what to do.
