I’m 21. Is my hairline receding?

>>34267314Don't worry about it.Also you can be identified from this picture. Focus on your bodily health and your hair will follow. It is called a widow's peak, but your banga cover it and it is not necessarily about how much hair you have, but how "full" it is.Now grow a beard.
>>34267314Not by a lot. Seems normal and age-appropriate. It really depends on where it was before. And when you take a photo from the top like that, it makes it looks worse than it really is.But finasteride isn't scary either, if you ever end up taking it. Have been taking it for two (?) years now, I think. t. 23 yo
try baldmaxxing as you age.
>>34267321That‘s not a widow‘s peak.
>>34267314Nah, mine looked like this when i was 16 and still looks the same at 32. Some barbers told me i will be bald at 20yo but i got longer hair than you.
>>34267314>>34267317receded*, but let me explain. All men start with their adolescent hairline. Once you go through puberty, your testosterone increases, and with it, your facial hair grows in, and also your hairline recedes, and you lose your adolescent hairline and get what's called a "mature hairline". Your temples recede, generally, in this process, and you get that more manly look. Most guys get their mature hairline at the end or after puberty finishes (16-23~). From there, your hairline will either:>stop receding. These men never bald. >keep receding, but so slowly it doesn't matter. These are guys who go bald by the time their 80~>keep receding, but at a fast enough rate that you will lose your hair too young. This is male pattern baldness (MPB) You have a "mature hairline". You have went through puberty and got your regular expected recession and now look like a man. But right now, it can either keep receding or not, you don't know. What you need to do is watch it like a hawk. Take pictures every month (the top of your head and your hairline), and you need to monitor it and see if it recedes more and if so, how fast. If you notice it recedes further, you can go to a doctor and hop on finasteride. The earlier you spot it, the better. This is all up to genetics btw. I had a friend who went completely bald at 18 years old. Another that slowly went bald from 18 to 30. I personally... got my mature hairline at about 17, and it just stayed that way forever, never budged an inch. It differs for every guy and it's up to your genetics. The best indicator is your dads/grandpas. If the men in your family are bad, that's a higher chance for you. The rate of recession after you get your mature hairline is also important. Generally, men with MPB lose it quickly after they get their mature hairline, like my friends did. but BEWARE the "norwood reaper". It's when guys don't monitor their hairline and it creeps up on them slowly. Take.. pictures. good luck
>>34268935and if it wasn't implied, you need to watch out for not only recession, but thinning too. Both are forms of hair loss.
>>34267314Yes. See a male dermatologist if you're worried.
>>34267314No, your forehead is simply growing bigger.
>>34267314Barely. You really shouldn't worry too much about it.It just looks like a widow's peak, honestly.

>>34267314Yes but it's pretty normal for zoomer standards, you guys have a nuked endocrine system
>>34267314It wont look like that if you dont pull your hair back like thay
>>34267314>zoomer got visited by the Norwood Reaper(tm)
>>34267321> Also you can be identified from this picture.Genuine question, how's that he could be identified? He isn't showing any facial features except for the forehead and hair. Wouldn't that be too generic?
