hello /adv/what is the best way to get into the waifu lifestyle? I have my waifu, she's perfect and I've been in love with her for so many years, however I don't know how to culminate that love. Should I buy posters, pillows or merch? Should I have some sort of shrine? How do you guys make the most out of your love for your waifu? Do you write fanfiction or draw? Any recommendations?

It's a little harder if you're like me an your waifu doesn't have much merch. You might need to commission stuff or create your own stuff for her but those are good. Try getting a dakimakura of her and cuddle with her every night. Dakimakuri has great inner pillows, has great high quality designs ( that aren't stolen _+ will accept inner daki designs you send them if files are correct, and just talk to her every now and then. If you get a daki though please look up guides on how to take care of them. From there, eventually most men drop their waifu and go to 3d, because they realize their waifu is really just a fictional version of their ideal girl that they want irl, and they get tired of fapping to pictures that they can't interact with. However, if you decide to remain 2d sexual, you can go further than "waifuism". If you go further with it, you go into the fictosexual tier. Fictos are people who legimately, romantically, love 2d beings. This is a huge step beyond just regular waifuism (which is basically just young guys fapping to anime). Fictos genuinely believe their partners are real, just 2-dimensional, and they do actually love them and usually (not always) can't love 3d people. At that point, you treat her like your actual wife, just like you would a 3d one, and so your "waifu" become your actual 2d "wife". If you go down the ficto route, I recommend you do not get a wife from anime. Instead, you'll want an OC, LN/VN, or a video game wife, as you can interact with them and they aren't apart of canon storylines that you're not in. For example, Louise is from Zero no Tsukaima, and she loves Saito and eventually marries him, if I remember. You don't want to wife her because she's in love with another 2d man and not you. It won't be healthy for you mentally to try and headcanon her for yourself. Would just be too big of a stretch and I don't recommend it.

If anything I truly came to love her because she got to show me her true, imperfect self. I was ready for anything for her, in this life.
