people dont like me and the only way you can get a job or money is through people liking you. as far as i can tell, having skill or being better than others has very little to do with it, its all about people liking you and wanting to give you stuff. my dreams of being a businessman seem annihilated.

You're not wrong.
A person sells themselves as human capital. How else do you demonstrate your human value if not through your attitude? Even those who lack social skills but possess exceptional abilities demonstrate their abilities; they don't hide that because that's what they're worth. It's a form of self-promotion.

Read "The like switch". It's a book specifically written for making so people like you, despite you not liking them.
Learn how to smalltalk. Basically get into what gen As would call "networkingmaxxing".
I've been there before so I know what's it like.

i feel that the only way a company makes money is through people wanting to go there to interact with you, or you having something that no other company in the area has.

You can crank what you have going up a notch and have people dislike you even more. Being better than others and shaming them gets you the recognition that you deserve. I get along being a notorious D and I have respect for other like myself or even on a greater level of butthole I am.

I have the same issue and I just started working a corporate job. Thankfully I’m just a cog in the machine and I can blend in as necessary as long as I keep my metrics up and don’t cause a scene. But it is a small company and as a woman it’s even more annoying because other woman expect you to be clique-y with them. I am a social anxiety ridden autistic that knew how to sell herself during the interview please leave me alone please. I can’t wait until I can’t start going hybrid sigh

You’re not wrong. I’ve had to work with many different weirdos during my lifetime and I don’t miss them now that they are gone.

Before the other employees get to know the real you, there is no other way for them to evaluate you. It sucks to hire someone and pay them all of that money week after week only to find out that they are completely useless. The only thing you know about someone up front is their outward appearance and personality, so that’s what they judge on. It’s not like they really have any other option.
