I'm in my mid 20s. I never worked a job before.
right now I'm doing some "soul searching" and part of that is going to involve travel.
the thing is, I don't understand how people make the time and have the money to afford this kind of lifestyle. I mean people are basically tied up to their jobs in their home towns.
how do you finance a nomad lifestyle?

You don't. Only people who travel are retirees.

the young people you see doing this on social media have rich parents, or the rarer case, they worked a lot and saved a ton beforehand so they could quit and do whatever (until they run out of money again).

This. All the young people I know who travel a lot have rich, or at least well-off parents.

Travelling a lot requires free-time as well as money. I know a guy who makes over $250K a year and has been for over a decade. He hardly ever travels because his job is so time demanding.

Even if you have a job that pays you enough, you can only travel as much as the time off you get... And if you're young, it won't be a lot..

What have you been doing with your life then? You should probably focus at least be able to financially support yourself before doing something so lofty...

most of those influencers are living off debt. They are using credit debt to fly around the world. The legitimate ones work a remote career that enables them to travel around the world and keep doing their work- so long as they have internet access.
>right now I'm doing some "soul searching" and part of that is going to involve travel.
if you want to do it correctly- find employment that requires you to fly around the world at this age. So that could mean, military contracting (fix crap that is in some country). Technician, (fix crap in some country that the company will pay everything for you to do). Sales (go visit some country to sell crap). Digital STEM (go do STEM crap remotely so you can go to some country and still get paid).
>I never worked a job before.
go get your finances in order first before you start dreaming of the benefits of having your finances in order. Video related is what retarded people do:
