The research itself actually points to things like less suicidal feelings in trans people who are supported. Especially in their own homes. Anecdotally the trans people I have validated all expressed genuine appreciation to me as well some very much so. I think I’m doing alright.

There's no research that indicates transitioning is a viable form of therapy, and all research actually shows that it leads to lower stability and less happiness. Transitioning ruins the life of every single person who goes down that path, because happiness does not come from being "validated" or by having your insecurities catered to. In order for a person to be happy, they have to accept themselves. And accepting yourself is the very thing that transitioning prevents utterly, because a person can't adopt a false identity and be honest with himself at the same time. They're mutually exclusive.
