We went on a date due to mutual attraction in our college class, and this was the first time we'd ever spoken.We had some chemistry and made each other laugh. She agreed to a second date during the first, and she's very agreeable so I said "you don't have to say yes" and she still agreed at the end of the date and said "ill see you for X (what we arranged) next i guess". All good.However during the date I talked about how i did hallucinogenic drugs the night before to explain my tiredness, how im into astrology, she asked about the plaster over my knuckles and I didn't tell her why(it was due to a fight), and I was limping because I fell off a crane (which i told her). For context, she's never drunk alcohol in her life and exclusively drinks water. She has anxiety and ocd and is very unadventurous. Shes never done a single drug either. I also made a joke about an ocd guy i know before she divulged that she has ocd. Awkward.The next day I drew a black and white valentines card with a black/white rose, astrological symbols and a Latin love phrase. It was very good as ive been drawing my whole life but I dont think she felt good receiving it. She still agreed to the second date over text, but her replies were less energetic. Eventaully, 2 hours before the date, she flakes and tells me she isnt feeling it and doesnt wanna lead me on.I'm worried that it's because I'm ugly up close, or did i scare her? Or both?
who cares. move on. ruminating about what it could have been won't make anything better and won't change the result. it's as pointless as trying to figure out why your particular ticket didn't win the lottery
