I had 2 interviews with this company a month ago and I have no received any reply. I sent a follow-up 2 weeks ago to the last interviewer and another one 1 week ago to the first interviewer (HR) saying I intend to apply to other jobs at the company but am still interested in the role I applied/interviewed for already.NOTHING.Also I've had a contingent offer from a military contractor for 2 FUCKING YEARS.What the fuck?
>>34272372There's not much more you can do. A month is too long for them not to give you some word, and one reminder is all you owe them.If you want, you can try a veiled ultimatum: "Am I to conclude from your silence that I am no longer under consideration for this position and am free to look elsewhere?"
>>34272824yeah it really is too long.I can say there could be 2 possible things:I asked when I'd hear back and was told the next week was going to be busy, a company holiday. and now there's a big conference happening in the industry. plus they put the job announcement back out.so yeah... perhaps its too long
>>34272372It took a grocery store 6 weeks to get back to me and offer me a job.
uh they are not obliged to answer you in any way whatsoeverthey might give you an answer to save face/not lose their image, most dont. if they dont answer, like you said, your file/application is already shreddered, weeks ago.or maybe HR is ill and is/was absent for 2 weeks which is rare ofc.out of 80 applications i got maybe 10 to answer back, 3 to call and 2 to invite me to an actual meetingthat was in 2017/18. europe.if you really are still interested in that position, you should straightforward call them on their phone number and explain yourself and ask questions, keep pressing
>>34273921yeah im gonna try calling monday in the meanwhile i sent another application so I'll see how that goes
