I'm involved in an unusual situation and don't know what to doI go to this gym 3 times a week and i'll frequently see this one woman there whenever i'm there. She talked to me once but I could tell she was disinterested and I found her boring, so I decided to not speak to her again. Outside the gym, I happened to see her at the grocery store I frequently go to and I avoided her, paid and left. Fast forward to last week when I happened to see her again at the same grocery store and I again avoided her and left after paying. I get an email from the gym saying I have been reported for "stalking" and making her feel "uneasy." What the fuck? I don't know this girl. I coincidentally see her two times outside the gym and her reaction is to notify the gym? This doesn't even make sense. The gym has no control of what happens to their clients outside of their premises The manager pulled me aside and told me this will go on my record and that if I do it again i'll be banned and have the police called. They refused to confirm it was her but I know it is. I haven't fucking done anything. I go to the gym to workout and leave. How are they taking her side? She seems legitimately nuts

"Stalking" used to mean someone visiting your house and throwing a brick through your window. It's a deliberately threatening activity meant to intimidate or harass someone. Stumbling upon someone by accident multiple times is NOT stalking.Now, thanks to feminism, almost anything can be considered "stalking" if a woman decides she doesn't feel comfortable. It's very, very common for men to be accused of this when they haven't done anything wrong.You can't afford to be charged with stalking, either. Even without a conviction, any background check will automatically flag you if the word "stalking" appears even once in public court records tied to your name. You're basically screwed and need to do whatever you can to not allow this to escalate further. DO NOT allow a police report to be filed, because if they decide to charge you, you are FUCKED in a way that even the best lawyer can't fix.As a man, you're guilty until proven innocent.
