I see many people here complaining about woke medias, but what does woke actually mean? Is there an set of traits for that make something woke, or is it another word that amounts to 'thing I don't like'? If it's the former, how can a writer or artist avoid making their work 'woke'?

I never use the term I just say things like "SJW like" I hate using the term woke it makes me cringe so hard man.

But what does it mean for something to be sjw?
>>

>'thing I don't like'
That's it. This site has driven so many words into the ground from overusing them, it's too many to count. It's just another one in the long list of incelese buzzwords. Don't think about it too hard.

>or is it another word that amounts to 'thing I don't like'?
more specifically, it means "thing that forces me to think about the world in a way that scares me. A way of thinking that would require me to abandon my conveniences and comforts, and admit that i lost myself to cruelty"
>but what does woke actually mean?
the actual definition is; aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues, like racism
>how can a writer or artist avoid making their work "woke"?
by deliberately ignoring the facts of the society they live in
>>
Generally it means unnaturally altering in a manner relating to modern social/political topics.
So making a character gay, hamfisting an immigrant story, making an obvious comparison to modern political person you don't like where it doesn't fit in a story, ect.

Woke can change it's mean depending on who is talking about it, but it usually covers topics of female problems, minority problems, diversity. Now when talking to certain rightwingers they will say that if a story has a female protagonist it's woke, or if the male character isn't stereotypically manly it's woke. To someone who is more centrist a female protagonist isn't really woke, but having a bunch of gay black people that live in medieval Europe is woke. Now left-wingers are somewhat rejecting the word woke, unless they are using the original meaning, to them it's just stories. If something is woke it doesn't mean bad, a story about a diverse group of kids fighting against an evil empire would be woke to sume, but what I described is Avatar the last Airbender and that show is great, on the other hand Steven Universe is considered woke and I could only watch 2 episodes. So all in all if you enjoy something just enjoy it, it doesn't have to be a fucking masterpiece, if you are writing a story just make sure that characters are interesting.

It's a jewish social engineering to foster self-destructive trough media manipulation and infiltration.
The best way to destroy a foreign nation is to let it destroy itself. Just think of natural order and inverse it:

>Family naturally rises its children.
A woke family refuses to have any kids.

>Naturally a man is strong, assertive and aggressive, with srong affinity for manual labor.
A woke man is submissive, weak and refuses to lead or work out.

>A woman naturally has a role of someone who can rise a child with care, and helps with tasks which do not put heavy strain on the body.
A woke woman hates matriarchy, and would rather listen to the media then her own partner.

>A couple naturally pairs to procreate with one another.
A woke couple cannot have children no matter what.

>Adult naturally abandons his infantile way of thinking in order to focus on self-development and rising a family.
A woke adult refuses to start a family instead obsessing over toys, cartoons and other infantile hobbies.

>A nation naturally protects its own citizens at the expense of everyone else.
A woke nation prosecutes it's core citizens to allow space for more immigrants.

>Naturally a member of society who puts his family and local community
A woke member of society who hates/abandons traditions passed down by his family and the local community

>A natural mind always seeks greater heights even if those cannot be confronted physically.
A woke mind is someone who constantly seeks self-gratification trough material means.

>Naturally a normal person thinks for himself.
A woke person allows the "global government" to think for him.

When "woke" topic mentioned you will always hear word "feelings". Why? Because it is the easiest and convenient way to mask ongoing deception.
"No I am not lying, you're just feeling this way. I just wanted to do/say it because I feel this way, ok?"
Women are more susceptible to spread woke propaganda because they are naturally more submissive.

I don't believe this is a serious question but obviously woke initially was not inherently negative and meant someone who is politically aware and not "asleep" to issues like injustice or oppression etc. it came from the black community and spread into common vocabulary. corporations globbed on to the social justice wave and tied it to sexuality, the gender war and diversity. probably initially to make more money but all this happened alongside the rise of MAGA etc and the term "woke" became a divisive political tool to push agendas. Corporations end up guided by politicians to put out excessively "woke" content constantly and the train could not be stopped to a point that everything has a gay main character and a completely racially diverse cast. Useful idiots continually argue online creating content, generating clicks and therefore revenue while the power structure guiding all this remain completely unaffected except for acquiring more money and control and woke loses its meaning as the status quo finds equilibrium when the public inevitably pushes back. It's a pendulum that swings forwards and backwards over decades between progressive and conservative and any time it settles the powers that be give it a little nudge and it starts generating money again. You can't beat it you can't escape it and you can't win. It's just magnified because of the sheer amount of content the modern person consumes

Literally what is even the point of having this dumb pep-talk every time. I am sure you mean happy when you say gay too, unc.

That is the first time I have ever wrote that. My comment was on topic, yours was not. It may have been a genuine question so I answered it but made a point that asking what woke means on 4chan reads as slightly disingenuous

>what does woke actually mean?
synonym for politically correct or sjw
