Tell me anything alcohol related stories or advice
>>
I rarely drink and Ive never been drunk but I start to get dizzy as soon as I drink one beer. I wonder if by the second beer I would be drunk and pass out at the third one.

Answers : probably not, and no. Pass out drunk is 6 beers <1 hour. BTW, passing out is your body reacting to poison, aka alcohol.

Got pulled over when i was drunk once, I think I was 19 or something like that. Had just spent the last several hours with my friend at our dealers house. We each drank a 6 pack and however much pot we smoked. I was waiting for a court date to come up from a previous traffic charge, the ticket was still on the dash of my car. Nothing happened at all, the cop let me go and I'm almost certain he knew i was drunk. He literally threw my license and insurance back at me through my window, he tossed them directly on my lap instead of handing them to me, then walked away and then doubled back

>there aren't any knives, guns or drugs in the car, is there?

>uhhh.... no

>okay, have a good day

My buddy had his shotgun in the trunk, we were on our way to go drink more and shoot guns with other friends and the barred was chopped off.

Closest call I've ever had to being arrested.

I was doing alright till I saw this thread. Cutoff time was nearly an hour ago. Wish I kept a stash but I cannot because I would just drink it and still would be out. I dont keep it in the house.

I'm a few years down the road from you. Similar family history, I always liked a drink but thought I had it under control. The habit was just lurking in the shadows. When life got stressful I started drinking more and more without really thinking about it. In short, I spiraled for a while, tried to stop, struggled, then finally made it before anything really bad happened. My advice is: stop as soon as you can. The later you leave it, the harder it will be. It actually feels much better to stop completely than drinking even occasionally.

General advice for other anons: be very careful if your family has any history of alcoholism. The advantages from drinking are pretty much nil but the dangers are huge if you have a family history.

I've been drinking for 10 years almost daily
>>
>be me
>20's
>been letting guys fuck me and blowing them for money
>also alcoholic
>one guy contacts me
>huge cock
>tell him I'll blow him but no anal
>money and tell him to bring vodka
>get to edge of empty parking lot and jump in his truck
>hands over money and vodka
>chat while I swig vodka
>lean over and start to suck his cock
>feel hot and dizzy, figure it's how I'm leaning over
>next thing I know I'm in the bushes with cum and blood oozing out of my asshole
>he's gone, money is gone, spiked (I assume) vodka gone
that's the day I stopped drinking

I have no idea. He seemed kind of irritated, maybe it was shift change and he didn't want to deal with waiting for a tow and everything else. Maybe he had a more important call, its a rural place so the cops are spread thin enough.

I like drinking. But I only do it once a week or so. Roughly 6-10 beers when I do. Am I in trouble? I already ruined all my friendships so that's non-issue.

Your alcoholic profile would be of the binge variety. I used to be like this up until March 2020, the lockdowns and then I went heavy every day. until maybe 2022 but I'm still pretty bad with it whenever I do. All it will take anon is one bad even or trigger and your binge patterns could escalate to everyday drinking.

started drinking regularly back around 2019 during my 5th year of college. I found myself outside a college friend group. I was so exhausted from college, classes were boring as hell as an econ major not to mention you weren't graded on hardly anything other than a 8 assignments and a couple of tests. Meaning, you constantly had to give a shit about school. It was like this since junior year. All I had was a macbook pro and a couple of books to get me by during my time in undergrad. Thankfully Washington was only a few miles away so I zone out for 6 or so years being high constantly. I thought I was getting ahead in life while being truthfully miserable mentally. I lost myself, isolated, lived alone, and could only watch motivational Jordan Peterson videos to get by. I went to the gym every so often but didn't have much direction with that either. Life gets better when you try, my advice drink beer and ditch liquor.
