At the very least if I don't want to hit the gym I'll go for a walk or do some simple pushups, sit-ups, etc. and it never takes more than 30min - an hour.Working out but more importantly diet, has made me more confident, happier, calmer and day to day I feel like i'm living instead of slogging by. You may just be in the beginning stages and need to keep going, improve your diet and improve your form. Also squats and other compound lifts are annoying af. I stick to machines mostly as they help my form / prevent injury and I get to enjoy the workout more. Gains are the same.And again yes, the chicks dig it.
