You know when you're talking to someone and you say something and they completely ignore whatever you said and carry on like you never said it?I absolutely hate it when people do that to me.What can I do about this?
>>34325294yeah so anyway as i was saying, i think harddives will improve in price even before tam recovers from the ai bubble. i mean how much harddrive space does open ai really need? are they really eating up all the consumer grade shit? doesn't there exist commercial grade harddrives that they can buy up? corporate slop has always been a way to help LOWER consumer prices.... why did ai have to go and fuck it up in the opposite direction???
>>34325294For sure man, I still don't know what to do about my shelf.. It's like such an obscure part and they aren't selling it anywhere anymore, I thought about calling Ikea today and see if they can find the name of the part and maybe refer me to the manufacturer because I lost the manual already.. Maybe I'll do that today
>>34326642Spastic OP said something but i didn't quite hear what it was.
>>34326642Nah you got it backwards man, corporate slop is about increasing customer prices and decreasing costs from shareholders
>>34326642I hear we can put a lot of data on glass. Is drive really the right woord >>34325294It just means they’re stupid. Don’t take it how you do.
>>34326951>I hear we can put a lot of data on glassi vaguely remember a thing where they could use layers of glass with etching as a neural net and shine light through it and the other side would have the output. like the number identification test, you could draw a white 6 on a screen and put it up to the glass and it would highlight the area corresponding to a 6 in the output or something??? also apparently you can do matrix multiplication with resistors transistors parallel and in series so you could theoretically hardwire a neural net (no cpu) and put electricity through it and it would just straight up calculate the output vector. i think we might be scarily close to making silicon based lifeforms. >>34325294i initially replied to troll but my advice is be a bit more patient for your turn and put more effort into active listening. this wont get people to listen to you more, but it will affect your charisma and make you more appealing to others.
