So my gf had a mental breakdown about how her life isn't fulfilling enough to her. I spend time with her, take time out of my life to make her happy from time to time, I am the breadwinner along with doing more than my fair share of "chores" around the place. Yet some how her mom has convinced her she shouldn't cook because being a housewife is akin to being a slave. Even though my gf loves to bake and cook she nowadays is always "tired and has no energy for it". Her best friend and the mom's best friend has literally told her to cheat on me, because I was not fun and exciting enough and she deserves better. Basically because I won't marry her, pay for everything, do all the chores, and make her life into a wacky romcom. Is there any way to salvage this or should I just abandon ship?
