Hi friends. On my last post which I think was two weeks ago, I was fresh off a breakup that lasted five years. I was confused about what to do next and asked this board "what the fuck do I do now?"

I got some pretty good advice desu, and today I wanna say that I think I'm doing great. I've gone out to some meetups, made a new connection, and reconnected with old friends (haven't talked to them in 8 years). I've turned the local fitness centre into a safe space that is all mine. No memories, no history, and zero trace of her

I've reconciled with the fact that the relationship is over. My brain has done a lot of the heavy lifting, now I'm just waiting for my heart to catch up

Thanks again, bros. If you’re in a similar situation, it does get better. Trust me

If you're rebounding, be mindful of the fact that it's a rebound.
