i don't need advice. but chinkmoot says we can have a meta thread per board. heres some general advice to all anons to help make this board a better place. 1) give other advice feedback. call it good if its good, call it bad if its bad. 2) try to understand the question before offering an answer. for example the organ practice thread had a lot of people telling him to use a piano, even though he specifically mentioned the need he has to improve his pedal work. 3) obstinate name calling can be fun, but make sure that OP got some good advice before calling everyone a faggot4) blanket hate is senseless. generalizing groups and their behavior is a nice simplification, but ultimately its based on stereotypes and does not apply to individual interactions. remember, behaving as an individual and behaving as part of a community might be differing behavior. OPs are often spurred by specific experiences and they generalize in the heat of their frustration 5) it is better to encourage healthy behavior than destructive behavior. telling an anon to burn it all down does nothing at best, and helps someone sincerely harm their life at worst. thanks for taking the time to give advice anons! hope youre having a pleasant day.
Thanks
>>34327175>to help make this board a better place. Why would I ever want to do that?
>>34327313You're here forever. might as well keep it civil.
>>34327175I agree with all of these points.Regarding #5, it’s so difficult to give positive advice to the ones that just want to complain and are not serious about doing anything about their problems. I feel that sometimes a good strike against their egotism is necessary. Sometimes it’s appropriate to make the pressure cooker explode because other ways will not solve the problem.>pic related: exhibits female behavior
>>34328416i think i agree. but its worth putting some effort in *trying* to be positive first.
I've been looking at this board on and off for a really long time. I don't remember how long it's been since I started with this board specifically... since the squid girl anime was popular at least. It's been the same shit to a degree, but it did begin changing along with the rest of the site after what we now know was moot taking it up the pooper from Epstein's friends in exchange money to keep 4chan running. Still most threads are "man up and ask him out" or "ask him, not us"Point 2 of >>34327175 has always been a sore spot for this board, in my opinion. In the past the #1 useless non-applicable advice that kept being repeated was "you should spend thousands on travel" and now its "you aren't adhering to some strict definition of masculine values" and it's just exhausting to read.
>>34329582>but it did begin changing along with the rest of the site after what we now know was moot taking it up the pooper from Epstein's friends in exchange money to keep 4chan running.the fall from grace we have gone through is genuinely tragic.
>>34329489I understand what you’re saying. Some of the people here just get that instant reaction out of me because you can just tell from their posts that they are in denial and not even going to try. As long as the person is willing to admit they have a problem instead of just looking for excuses, I do try to provide positive feedback.
Incels should be forbidden from posting in any dating related thread. They either white knight so hard that even reddit would say they're going to far. Or they are misogyny maxers whose answer for everything is killing women.Thread >>34326833 is a great example. Full of incels being furiously jealous of OP for not really being into the girl who asked him out.
>>34332823nurobots are always hilarious to watch. That's the one upside to them.
