My wife is either bi polar (maybe schizophrenic). She has been in and out of manic episodes for the past year. Steadily manic for the last 6 months and hasnt been able to work. She has been to a mental hospital twice for about 2 weeks each time in this period. They let her out because she was taking her meds and they couldnt hold her any longer. As soon as she gets out, she stops taking them. She says all pharmaceuticals are poison. She hates my guts for not buying into her dellusions. She thinks that she is working with Elon Musk and Mark Zukerberg, Bill Gates and whatever other rich/famous people to solve world problems. Totally obsessed with aliens/drugs/witchcraft/global political/religous events. All the Epstein and Israel/Iran stuff has really set her off. She is also totally obsessed with her ex boyfriend/husband and claims they are coming to rescue her and "explain" everything to me.She refuses to take her meds and smokes weed nonstop. I gave up on making her take them and she progressively gotten worse. I was going to ride it out and figured she would have to come out of it eventually but last week I had to travel for work and she let one of our dogs get hit by a car. We don't have any kids and the dog was the closest thing I'll probably ever have to one. I was devastated. Life has been shit for the last year now I lost my best friend.I have forced her to start taking her meds, telling her that if she doesnt I will call the cops and tell them she is threatening me again (she told the cops she was thinking about killing herself/me before the first time she was committed). She screams at me and tells me the most horrible things but so far she has taken them.
She has lost all of her friends and most of her family has blocked her. She psycho texts people hundred of texts an hour of crazy shit and pretty much everyone has her blocked. She talks to meta AI all day because no one else will respond to her.I am literally all she has left. If i divorce/kick her out, I think she will end up homeless.I am at a loss for what to do. Does anyone have any advice on how to get her to take and stay on her meds? I have met with her doctor and they are no help either. I actually talked to a psychiatrist and got a Prozac prescription because after my dog died I could barely function. I really feel like my life is going to shit and I have no good options.
