CS student here. I'm unable to find a working student job (those entry level IT jobs with like 10-15 hours a week). They never accept me. I was planning to just work at a supermarket for the next semester while doing some projects or something that I can put on my resume to get a job later. Any tips on what I should do to increase my chances? For context I live in Berlin and I'm German

it's already mid March. you need to apply September-December for those kinds of jobs the next summer. Everyone has known this for 15+years. Presently, it will probably take hundreds of applications in those months. You might be able to start looking now for something in the winter.
>>34336669Since no one is offering helpful advice. Internships are just now starting for companies. Apply for an internship. They specifically look for students in most of them so, no, you won't be competing with as many applications. Also try to apply for positions that are IT related (cyber security, application analyst, etc.) that will at least get your foot in the door and give you the work experience
