i wouldn’t unless they directly told me that they don’t like me. of course some people make it obvious in other ways like avoiding you, insulting you in a way that seems playful but obviously isn’t, talking you down when you try to boost yourself up, etc. i wouldn’t take texting as an indicator of whether or not someone likes you. i don’t initiate with pretty much anyone i know, but it’s not cause i hate them, i just don’t do that.that all being said, i’d also stop assuming everyone hates you. you might put out a weird energy in anticipation of rejection. instead, why not think about whether you like them? you can’t read someone’s mind so don’t worry about it basically.
