I don’t drink. I want to make friends. I’ve tried to make friends everywhere but it’s impossible. Nobody has any real hobbies besides drinking. Anything that’s fun like singing or dancing involves drinking. It’s so frustrating.
>>34362217Yeah go for it. Just don't drink all the time; drinking is a good way to learn to loosen up.
>>34362217>Nobody has any real hobbies besides drinking.Doubt.
>>34362217> Anything that’s fun like singing or dancing involves drinking.Church choir? Concerts? Music festivals?
>>34362260I hate church. And two of those activities aren’t things you can do every week.
>>34362217Do not drink to fit inStay true to your values Anon.I am 19 which is the legal age for drinking in my country, yet I refuse to drink the poison.
drinking is really fun in moderation but i don’t know why you would have to rely on it to make friends. you can’t go to those events and just choose not to drink if you don’t want to.
>>34362454Not OP The meaning of "drinking in moderation" could vary from peopleTo some it's drinking once daily, others is drinking only on weekends, some its drinking once in a blue moon.
>>34362217Drinking isn't even good. Just learn Latin dancing.
>>34362217absolutely but start with lagers so you dont puke
>>34362217I have three bottles of hard liquor on my shelf. I rarely drink them individually, but rather use them for recipes. After adding whiskey to my chili recipes I can't go back.
No. Alcohol is a C-tier drug at best, so many side effects and the buzz is kinda boring and feels very fleeting. It's a good social lubricant [liquid courage] and I have had good times drinking with friends, at bars, house parties, etc., but it's just not worth the hangover and rotted liver. There's at least 5 drugs I'd legalize before alcohol, it's way too normalized and mid at best.
