vibe code something tangentially related to your field then apply to a higher grade position claiming you can bring improvements using AI
>>34363070>a meme degree and no real skillsA history major can research ANYTHING more efficiently and effectively than 90% of the populationA philosophy major can plow through mountains of opaque data to make sense of it all better than 90% of the population. An English major can write better than 90% of the population.Forget the material you studied. Think about the skills you developed while studying it, and figure out who will pay you for having those skills.
>>34363070Easy, just be an extrovert who can hit it off with interviewers.
>>34364270The "skills" developed with those degrees are now available to everyone with AI.
>>34363070job market is all about connections and networking. Nobody needs a hermit dumbass nor a genius savant. Bought a beer for a guy once? He could be your interviewer or reference tomorrow.
>>34363070>How do I make 6 figuresthe phrase you're looking for is EARN, not magically "make"You need the requisite skills/experience to command the wage you expect.Go look at people in your field living the lifestyle you want and look at what qualifications and skills THEY haveregardless of industry or profession
>>34365099Have you seen what AI can do? They call it slop for a reason.
>>34365487it is fucking slop
>>34365472>the phrase you're looking for is EARN, not magically "make"thing is, no one making that much actually EARNS it legitimatelyyou can only make that much money by exploiting others and taking what is rightfully there's
>>34368140>thing is, no one making that much actually EARNS it legitimatelySo you're omniscient now, and yet you don't know what jobs actually make that amount of money? The only years I ever earned 6 figures I worked a day job at $80k while also operating a sole proprietorship out of my house for $70k. Which meant I averaged a 70 hour work week for nearly 6 years. If you are willing to trade all of your time for money, making 6 figures isn't as hard as you think. You just have to understand that money is it's own kind of freedom, and you have to get motivation from the work rather than just from what your "freetime" affords you to do.I value leisure a lot more after having gone through that and have a much higher appetite and aptitude for work now. The only thing that has change is that the opportunities (and credit) needed to create a second job aren't available right now. So I'm just barely at $94k currently because I'm only doing gig work outside of my dayjob.
>>34363070Those jobs existed a few years ago, people who got them were called software engineers. That's over now though. To be an employee and make six figures you need dark triad personality, basically be a psycopath and play the corporate game strategically.
>>34365099thanks, retard
>>34365487>>34368104to be fair the degrees are slop too, t. i have stem degree
>>34363070>meme degreeWhat degree? Unless it is something like gender studies, you are pretty much in the same boat as everyone else. If you study a non-STEM degree, people will complain regardless of what it is. As someone who is studying engineering, I know that even if you are in a STEM degree, you also will have trouble. If it is computer science, you are in a very competitive field to where I usually would advise people not to go into it because there are so many. If it is math or science related, you usually need a master's to even get a job. That is why I went for engineering, so hopefully I can work straight out of school, although even then I get worried about it. >>How do I make 6 figuresI do not think this is the best mentality to have. You should first strive to be financially stable, and that depends on how well you are with money. You could have a six figure job, for instance, but end up struggling and in debt for the rest of your life still. Focus on getting a job and then moving up the ranks. Also, do not listen to some of the people here:>>34363177>>34365099>>34368140>>34368638
