There are training organizations/trade schools that farm out apprentices to workshops and businesses, apply to them. If you don't fit in wherever they stick you, odds are you can tell them and they'll move you to a different work place.

Basically to compete I would have to go somewhere where it doesnt take 10 years xp to be hired (third world), the third world tradie can come here and work for peanuts to send home. The person here with money already can go to the third world and live like a king. But the youth of either country gets absolutely shit canned, either because your startup job is gone for the first world person or else because your neighborhood is gentrified by some middle class foreigner bringing his money to your affordable town or city for the third world person.
