>>34364649You have any intellectual interests? Pursue that maybe. 23 is a good age to be. Endless possibilities still.
>>34364649Yes, you're a failure. It's all gonna go downhill from there. You're still relatively young, so you can pass off as the semi-normal "messy young adult". But once you get to your late 20s and early 30s, then people will seriously look at you like a severly mentally ill person. You won't be able to go to the grocery store without stares. It's gonna be psychologically painful.
>>34364649Me looking at you from above, about to turn 30, still useless, no job, in perpetual school. It can always get worse, I mean it. Start today.
>>34364649>sonIf you have a child, you need a means to support them. Usually, that means is money, and usually the main way to get money is to work.Start work today!
>>34364655I don't have any, i'm pretty mediocre at anything i do lol. I think my parents are to blame to some extent, because they never encouraged me to do any activities or to persue any interests in my free time
>>34364690Try to enjoy being a neet. A lot of uni students and employees are even more miserable.
>>34364649>am I a failure?>Be realYes. You talk like a negro. It's over for you.
>>34364649Dude you're 23, your life has not even started, no you're not a failure just more so depressed or in a rut.I have a relative that is 60 and never had a full-time job, did nothing but drink, smoke, and play video-games damn near his entire life, turned down a business partnership with a friend that could have made him bank, turned down a relationship with a woman that absolutely loved him and was wonderful handed to him on a silver-platter; That guy is a loser.Go get another (non-temp) job and save your money, you will meet like minded people and eventually save up to get your license and a car.I know you failed the first time and that's okay what you do now is all that matters. Once you have some money, a car, realize all guys your age are pretty much doing the same thing, you will build some confidence and then it will be much easier to get a relationship. You will also have money to put into things that interest you.You are not a failure.
>>34364671Well, it will not going downhill if i do something, and get my shit together for some extend. I just hope that this will happen. I look very normal luckily, and i don't think anyone would notice that i'm a failure without asking specifically about these thinks..so yeah
>>34364677I don't want any children, life is complicated enough for me. I would like to work but i dont get even back a message from the companies i wrote to ugh
go get therapy or try to horde as many self help resources as you can if you living in a shitshow like the US.Work on your self confidence every, fucking day. Don't be hard on yourself if you don't manage. Try next day.Try to find clubs, libraries fuck idk anything with ppl that may share just 1% of your hobbies and talk to them. Sometimes helps to get drunk so maybe a bar works too.Maybe invest in a doggo while looking for work.23 is fucking young and you have all the time in the world to reach certain goals in your life like a driving license. Though lowkey having one makes you free in so many ways it will improve your life by miles.Your not a failure kid, just a normal adult struggling in this shitshow of life. Make it yours.
>>34364649>23 yono you're too young to be a failure, you're a success waiting to happenyou're on the pathway though, so get your shit together before it's too late. if you're still asking yourself these questions in two years time your answer is more likely to be a yes>no drivers license( i tried, but i failed)this is a prime example - you failed, so fucking what. try again.
>>34364649>23No. You're far from it. Keep retaking the drivers test and find another entry level job. Learn from the reasons you were fired and take the lesson into your next job.
>>34364649Anyone under 50 who says he has wasted or ruined his life is an idiot. You have another 75 years or so to live. Start doing something to make them of value now.
>>34364733>I don't want any childrenThe vaginal jew will trick you, trust me
Sure but like so is everyone else so>>34364733Jk ur extra failo if you never reach a point where U want a kid to get on ur lvl
>>34364649>23yo>wasted my early twentiesYou're life has barely even started, anon.Nothing has been wasted yet.Keep trying. Do something creative or helpful. Go outside and garden, draw, try cooking, get into baking, volunteer for something, get outside. If you have the time to do anything like this then do it. Whatever it is though, see it through.
>>34364649Just focus on improving your finances. Get training for a job that requires skill and effort and pays decently, yes you can do it.That's the only thing that matters really, material security. Everything else is secondary. In regards to being a "failure", that doesn't really matter in the sense that you think it does, but you'll only figure that out with yourself time and maturity.
>>34368544>go outside and garden, draw, try cooking, get into baking, volunteer for somethingI agree with your sentiment, but can you come up with advice that doesn't sound like it came straight from a sitcom dad from the 90's? Jesus.
>>34368695I hate to say it, but the best advice sounds like that. It's retardedly simple and generic. Those things really will help you, or in the very least, keep you from getting worse. Additionally, I chose those hobbies deliberately. They are easy, low cost, have an abundance of resources/literature, have visible/identifiable indicators of progress, get you moving, and tend to ingratiate others around you. People like baked goods, fresh vegetables, and dudes who help others. Because of this, you are less likely to receive pushback from people when engaging in these hobbies. Exercise and sunlight will help dissipate "anxious energy". Walking puts pressure on the joints releasing endorphins and sunlight helps maintain your circadian rhythms. Plus, it assists in vitamin D production which regulates your immune system and mood.I've been in the same situation as OP. Implementing these lifestyle changes really do help. They're not a silver bullet, there are problems that cannnot be solved this way. Hitting the treadmill won't get rid of an abusive parent or some shit but it will likely help given the information we've received.
>>34364707Maybe because chasing success doesn’t inherently lead to happiness.
>>34368871Maybe because being successful isn't all about skill compared to social skills.
>>34364649If you choose to improve now, you will look back at this moment and smile. I would argue what you are saying is relatable to most people in this world. Stop living in self-pity. >wasted my youthWho cares. Accept you cannot change the past. You're here now, not everyone can say the same.>lives with parents, no job, no driver's licenseYour real issue is that you lack a sense of purpose and freedom. You need to be self-dependent. FYI I know a driver's license in America is important, but in other places around the world it is unusual to not have one at 23.Your main issue is you need to get a job. If it's something you are passionate about, that's a great plus, but it shouldn't be the priority right now Right now, you need to make enough money to where you can sustain yourself and become an adult. You should also socialise with other people. Getting a job can help, but also going outside and checking out events.Find some hobbies that you are interested in. This might involve taking a break from the internet to reset your reward pathways. Of course, you cannot do any of this before you take care of yourself first. Start sleeping enough, eat healthy, get some exercise. If you doomscroll, stop it. Go outside.
