I live with my parents and I've noticed our refrigerator has no outlet cover, it's been this way for years but I now have anxiety that a house fire might start someday. There's no way to get behind the fridge to install a cover since it's in a very narrow space. Moving it myself is impossible. What the fuck do I do? I don't want my home to be burned down :(

>>34366707The covers are just to prevent electrocution from shoving your fingers in there. The wires are probably wired properly if it's been like that for years. How exactly is it wired, is there still an electrical outlet or is it hardwired? It'll be fine. Additionally your switch board probably has fuses that will trip if there's a fault.
