What to do with my time?

I was able to retire at 37 because I sued my former employer for discrimination, got a big settlement and with a financial planner, I was able to set that up as passive income, so I don't need to work.

My wife chooses to work part time to get out of the house. We have a 2nd grader and I've become the go to parent they can call for a chaperone or otherwise volunteer.

Otherwise, I'm a house husband and I play vidya all day.

Even after a year, my days do feel empty.

Start doing blow, ruin your life, start over from rock bottom. Guarantee that will keep you entertained for about a year or so until the blow rots your nasal cavity

If you are interested in arts there is a lot of cool stuff you can do. Learn to make music, sing, record yourself. You could also develop your own video game, learn to code, to make 3D models or 2D art for it. If you have any passions, do them full time.

Whatever your old job was, it gave you some skills. Donate those skills to one or more good causes by working part-time for them for free.

Buy a lot and build a home yourself, that should keep you occupied for a year.
