Whenever I'm not drained from work conversation comes easily to me but recently it's been hard for me to keep it going but i still want to socialize with people. My mind blanks and I can't really think of anything engaging to say. What are some ways to keep a conversation fun?

I have recently started a thing where I pretend to basically have been in a bunker for my whole life and I dont know SHIT. Anyone mentions a current event or celebrity or conversation topic and I will just be like huh? what? seriously? who? It takes all the pressure off you and I think girls actually want you to be like this anyway. I am just a cave man

Pack your conversation emergency bag:
>repeat what they just said, in a shocked or disbelief tone
>"Really?"
>"I've never seen it, how is it?"
>"I've never been there, how is it?"
>"I've never listened to them, how is it?" ... etc
>"Damn..."
literally you don't have to contribute anything to keep a conversation going. the thing that works every single time is turning yourself into a blank grey blob and basically interview the other person.
of course, this doesn't work when talking with spergs like you and me, but they don't want to talk anyways.
