I'm a 30-year old socially awkward friendless loser. I (somehow) have a first date on Friday afternoon at a bar. What the FUCK do I do?

>I (somehow) have a first date on Friday afternoon at a bar. What the FUCK do I do?
use your own judgment & ignore every post you're about to read on 4chan.org
worst case scenario it goes wrong & your judgment improves in the future

"reddit, please be an interloper between me & the person i'm trying to date"
are you retarded? what's the point at that point?
>>
>>34373153
Move the conversation along non autisticly. Ask them questions about themselves
>>
>>34373153
How though? Literally how do you get a date if you have no friends?

I'm a lifelong kissless dateless virgin who has also been friendless since 2021, and I can't even imagine how I'd even begin to try and get a date with a woman.
>>
>>34373165
>non autisticly
but i am autistic. i literally cannot keep a conversation going to save my life.
>Ask them questions about themselves
"Uuuhhh... Do you like paying rent?" is the sort of thing that'd pop into my head. Even if I take a few seconds to think, that's all I'd be able to come up with. I'm not even kidding.
>>34373176
>Literally how do you get a date if you have no friends?
i live in a big city, and every now and then, bars and clubs will have singles events where you can meet people.
>>
>>34373184
>"Uuuhhh... Do you like paying rent?"
I mean, if she is into you she will laught and find it cute
>>
>>34373191
>>
>>34373191
First off, I don't believe you. Second, I don't even think she's into me. I honestly have no idea why she agreed. Maybe she won't even show up.
We met last week, we talked for like 5 minutes, and it didn't even feel like she was enjoying the conversation. It kinda felt like we were both forcing ourselves to talk to each other. But after a few minutes, she asked if I wanted to exchange phone numbers, and now here we are.

>I'm a 30-year old socially awkward friendless loser
You are 30. How have you not learned to not talk negatively about yourself yet.
Everyone here calls themselves a loser in the first sentence of their self introduction. I get it, we all have problems, but for the love of God stop calling yourself names.
>>
>>34374299
Im gods gift to women but theyre idiots and dont know it yet
>>
>>34374315
This has got to be one of those fallacies pinned to the top of /pol/
>>
>>34374299
>How have you not learned to not talk negatively about yourself yet.
OP here. If you have poor social skills like me, you HAVE TO have low confidence, and make self-deprecating jokes. If you act all cool and confident while having poor social skills, you make yourself seem like a complete, out-of-touch dumbass.
>>
>>34374642
the version of you that's a big headed out of touch dumbass is still more fuckable than the meek self deprecating guy. like, you're not wrong about how you'll be seen, but that's still a 4/10 instead of a 2/10
>>
>>34374642
Okay then. Humility is good, I'm just saying, "you never carry failure forward".
If you consider yourself a loser then act like one but try to not make it your identity
>>
Literally just be yourself. I know it's gay normie advice but she already likes you. Don't stray too far from that. Maybe write down what she likes, hobbies, what she believes in and talk about those. People love talking about themselves. You got this.
>>
>>34373153
Do not try and be more than you are. Pretend you're meeting up with a good friend and get yourself in that headspace. Shes just a person like anyone else. Shes not special, but she might like you so be nice to her.
>>
>>34375009
>but that's still a 4/10 instead of a 2/10
I think you're backwards here, but in the end, it doesn't really matter. She's not a fatass, and she didn't seem like she was desperate, so either way it probably won't work out.
>>
>Fat bitches need love too. But they gotta pay.

she wants to reschedule because she's sick.

R.I.P
>>
>>34373153
If ur friendless it means that u made normies ur God because they are where u derrived ur value from. How to escape God? You must act without permission and accept that it might not work and probably won't give u satisfaction. So u need to just try anyways. Or else normies aka your god will stop you in your tracks because when u present yourself to the real aka reality and ur scared it will show u what u really are, it will collapse your fantasy. So u enjoy procrastinating around it.
>>
>>34373153
When you u think that ur value comes through the eyes of the other whatever other that is, is your inherited symbolic world and your big other aka your god. Stop serving masters

It’s unironically over, when a girl wants to take a rain check she is cancelling and found a better date
>>
>>34379013
>>34379062
she suggested we meet next week instead
>>
>>34379594
It's fine if she reschedules. If she flakes a second time it's done.
>>
>>34379597
That's what I figured. I really hope she's genuinely rescheduling, and she's not just messing with me or anything. But we'll just have to wait and see.

How did you do it? I'm 32, but still can't figure out how to get even one date.
>>
>>34384622
unironically, i met her at a singles event at a bar.
>>
>>34384757
How do you find these?
I'm too fat and ugly for apps, but I have a great personality and actually do fine with women I meet IRL.
I just moved to a new city though and I need to rebuild my social circle.

Hey anon that's great ! Don't worry too much about how things will go. She already made things easy for you and should continue to do so if anything is meant to happen. Just ask questions about what she likes or does. Answer hers. It doesn't really matter if the conversation is strange, that could be entertaining even.

Unfortunate. At least she considered it. Still a victory in book if anon truly is who he describes. Maybe something did really come up? Wishing the best to anon.

what people want is a better life. What that means varies wildly from person to person, but they all want it.

Ok
You sit with her at the bar and awkwardly think of something to say for 10 minutes. Then she will try to say something like "so what do you like to do for fun" and you will say "umm I post on 4chan" and she will say "uh huh..." and then you both sit in silence for another 10 minutes. Then she walks over to a taller, more handsome more sociable man and leave you sitting there by your own. So when you reach this point, here's what you gotta do:
Lift your and, fold it into a fist and then punch your balls as hard as you can
