I neglected my dental health as a kid and teenager, started to get myself on the right track past few years.
Just had my bottom right wisdom tooth, and 2nd molar pulled, first molar pulled months ago.

Got a bone graft put in, and hopefully will get an implant in a few months. Maybe a second one in a year when insurance renews.

anyone else gone through similiar? implants, bridges, partials?

You’re harshing my buzz.

I'm going to be getting an implant soon, on a front tooth. Haven't had it pulled yet though. It's cool seeing the actual root. I wish I could afford to have all my teeth pulled out and replaced completely with a strong material that won't degrade like dentin does.

The neglecting part as a teenager, yeah. My teeth are completely fucked, but I'm literally poor as shit so I'm slowly getting the ones that are fucked pulled (read: everything except the bottom front row).

Getting the molars and shit pulled is whatever, it sucks but it's tolerable. But getting a canine and the top front ones pulled? Holy SHIT I hate it. I want to just get knocked out and wake up with it done. Even with anaesthesia the experience is hell.

Jesus fucking christ op

thats what I get for not getting my wisdom teeth pulled :(
the big intact one is the wisdom tooth, its cracked like that because it grew into my 2nd molar shattering it.

whatever you do, DO NOT take vitamin K2 or D3. those are not serious solutions

Fuck I still have my wisdom teeth. I was supposed to get them removed then Covid happened

Use lethal force to defend yourself if your dentist detains/corners you and mentions your wisdom teeth
>>
I need a lot done but I'm poor and terrified of dentists

vitamins D3 and K2 repair teeth

Repairing a tooth doesn't really mean much once it's outside your mouth anon. Maybe when they find a way to regrow them. But I bet dentists have a strong monetary incentive to never find a way to do that

Yeah, I always brushed my teeth, but neglected a few things, Id say my dental health Is my biggest/possibly only health concern besides a minor one right now. Had a root canal and def need a few more, seeing a guy with no cavities surprised me.

If it makes you feel any better I just recently finished a dosing of antibiotics to stop my tooth from continuing to erupt blood and pus out of the rotten hole like a small volcano. The pain was only half the fun.

Only recently by abscessed tooth started coming back but this time it just fucking exploded over me and the pain was extremely throbbing to the point where there was a moment where I just transcended through the pain and felt like my body is gonna leave yet the pain kept hunging

What was it like getting your wisdom tooth pulled? I've got one with a hole in it that needs to come out, I've been eating food on the opposite side of my mouth for over 2 months now. Never had a tooth out before

i have adhd. brushing teeth is just something i naturally hate doing. it didnt help that my parents were complete fucking retards that neglected actually raising me. i have one molar pulled out, and one broken pre-molar from the surgery trying to take it out (i think the surgeon was trying to farm money out of me but ill give benefit of the doubt). all of my molars are basically hollow from cavities.

brush twice a day (or 30 minutes after every meal if you really want to be optimal). and ALWAYS floss. there's so much food bits that get stuck inbetween teeth that contribute to cavities.

it really wasn't bad at all. infact I couldn't even tell when they pulled it. I had to get two teeth removed at the same time, and I thought they were working on my broken one that shattered the entire time.

You just feel "pressure" and yes you can feel the tooth being pulled, like you know they are there, and you can "feel" what they are doing in a physical sense but ZERO pain associated with it. Very difficult to describe but I assure you, its not painful what soever if they numb you up good.

Worst part of my experience was when they "dug" around my jaw to get rid of infection, literally had to scrape my jaw bone
