My pillow had some mold on it, I'm going to throw it out, but some of that mold spread to the edge of the lining of my mattress, as you can see with the black dots in pic related, the rest of the mattress is fine as I don't think the mold penetrated deeply. What can I use to clean that mold, will bathroom cleaner be enough?

A 1:1 mix of vinegar and water, or rubbing school should kill it fine.

Rubbing alcohol*

Sorry. Phone posting.

Should I rub the mixture against the mold or let it be exposed to the mixture for longer(e.g. 1 hour)?

First off, what is your AC set at?

Anything and a toothbrush.

I live in England, I don't have an AC.

Your house is likely having difficulty airing out properly and is retaining excess moisture. The solution is either to introduce a draft by opening a few windows or if that is not feasible, purchase a dehumidifier. In the meantime this >>34377855 guy has the right idea. Vinegar is the enemy of fungus, alcohol is the enemy of bacteria.

This, also OP. Take the mattress outside when it's a sunny day.

Sun is a natrual disinfectant, so pair anons suggestion with the sun and it'll go a long way.

Bad news bro. That’s not mold, it’s bed bug shit.

This anon mignt be right. Check your neck, chin, lips, and collar for red bumps. Do you wake up with anything gross on your face? Check the back of your headboard too.

It's most likely mold because the underside of pillow had mold spots, the pillow was here before I moved into my apartment, I should have checked it better and thrown it out.
