22 yr old university studentHad a virtual interview today where I couldn't even answer soft-ball questions beyond just a couple brief, rambling sentences. I was so stressed out my eyes were getting red and misty.I have two more interviews lined up in my field for summer-student positions, if I fuck them up I'm probably going to be unemployed.I tried beta blockers but they don't seem to really help. What do I do?
>>34380016why do you want to be wageslave so bad?
>>34380016i don't normally condone the use of alcohol or stimulants, but if you need to get through a single interview & nothing else, that can be a good one-time use for low-dose adderallit might make you extremely anxious though, so be careful if you're not sure how you'll react to itbest thing to do to prepare is make a bunch of bullet point questions you might be askedresearch interviews on reddit etc for similar positions/interviews & see what questions people got askedresearch the company a bitthink of some stories to tellrunning through the interview in your head several times until you're bored will make it much less daunting, i bet>>34380025job good, and besides, he's already in universityif he NEETed you'd complain he got scammed by the college system xd
>>34380071youre recommending him now to take drugs to be a wageslave. i just dont get people
>>34380078no, i'm telling him to take low-dose amphetamine ONCE to get through an interviewif you/anyone has to take stimulants regularly to keep up a job, it's not worth it, to be clear>to be a wageslave.people need money for various reasons, OP is asking for specific advice
>>34380016Your university has a help-you-get-a-job office that will give you practice interviews
>>34380016Practice practice practice. Spam doing interviews and practice sessions u til you land a job.
>>34380016Fake it to you make it, lie, think of examples to share that tell you’re a hard worker, don’t be desperate for the job but make them believe you’re a perfect fit
