if they've given you antibiotics you almost certainly have a dental abscess caused by the tooth and you will get no lasting relief until the antibiotics have dealt with the infection AND you have then treated the initial cause (the bad tooth) via a dentist.
If you're in the UK, get some co-codamol tablets, they work wonders on toothache. If you're in the US or a lot of Euro countries though you're fucked because even the low strength stuff is prescription only.

prescription doseages for Tylenol and ibuprofen are as follows. (do not exceed these dosages or time frames)
800 mg ibuprofen every 6 hrs
1000mg Tylenol every 6 hrs
stagger these so you take one meds every 3 hrs while awake (ibuprofen at 6am, Tylenol at 9am, ibuprofen at noon, Tylenol at 3pm, ibuprofen at 6pm, Tylenol at 9pm)

Buy OTC orajel and follow the directions

Doctors will not touch inflamed, infected teeth. That's why he provided you with antibiotics. To heal that infection before he actually works on the tooth.
You have to take the antibiotics following the prescription strictly, also grab some pain medicine and take it regularly too.
It's just 4 days. While I understand it's unbearable, specially at night before sleep, if you take the pain medicine smartly, you will be able to handle it.
If you don't think you can handle it, then it's an emergency and you need to go t a place that offers dental emergency treatment.

Chew a dried clove or two where it hurts. Let it sit on your teeth a little before you spit/rince. It should calm the area a bit

had a tooth abscess about a year ago. literally started out of nowhere, tooth just died for no reason.

first day noticed a little ache but didn't think much of it. day two, it hurt even more but just thought i maybe bumped my face in my sleep. day 5 the pain is way worse, go to the dentist and get xrays, notice the abscess but it's too infected to pull so get put on antibiotics.

day 7, pain was so bad i couldn't sleep, cried for hours and didn't eat. no otc remedies even helped a little bit. the dentist still refused to pull it as the infection was so bad. ended up getting fed up and literally pulled it myself with pliers and went to the dentist to get patched up.

sadly the extraction barely felt like anything compared to how painful the abscess was.

tooth pain will fuck you up, once you notice pain, get seen immediately
