I lost my job because I didn't advance fast enough to escape restructuring.I'm going in for some interviews, how do I tell the interviewer that I want a chance to advance and grow, rather than work a low level job in perpetuity?
>>34387314You got to make do with what you have.
>>34387314Say "I want a chance to advance and grow, rather than work a low level job in perpetuity"
>>34387730How do you spin that without seeming selfish?
>>34388068That doesn’t seem selfish to me. But that last part seems a little rude, though. Just say the first part about growth and leave out the sarcastic second part.
OP here, I mentioned that I desired advancement, they ended the interview and sent me a "We decided to go with someone who aligns with our culture" email. Tired of being seen as a fucking bad person for wanting a better life.
