Ever since I was a little kid I've been wearing glasses and to be honest I've never looked good in glasses. Whenever I took off my glasses everyone would be surprised at how much better I look without my glasses. It was like going from a nerd to a jock in seconds. And I've never liked wearing glasses either. Every pair of glasses I've tried has been uncomfortable on my face. I also hate when I take off my glasses for a quick second and somehow I can't find them anymore only to later in the day find them in a completely obvious place. Luckily about 6 months ago I finally got contacts! Way better than glasses! More comfortable and I look better too! But just one and exactly one issue...touching my eyeballs. I can't fucking stand it. Once I got my eye contacts in everything is golden but touching my eyeballs is the absolute worst. My eyeballs feel kind of wet and slimy probably due to the tears, reminds me of when I touched a slug once. And my eyeballs are so slippery too. I just hate everything about it. No idea how I can get over this. Sometimes I even leave my contacts in overnight (terrible idea I know) because I'm afraid of touching my eyeballs. I love contacts but hate the feeling of putting them in and taking them out. The only half solution so far has been smoking a shitton of weed when putting them in and taking them out but that's not a sustainable solution. That shit is expensive plus I can't do it on days where I have to drive and work and shit. So that's why I'm here.
>>34387516okay real talk i have no advice but that video is fucking gross. i know it's a cartoon but it's still fucking gross
Did you even need to make a post for this? Literally just be a fucking man and learn to touch your eyeballs. It should get easier with practice
>>34387578If you unironically think this is gross then you haven't been on the internet long enough. Even as far as animations go there are much grosser ones out there.
>>34387709Nta but I can't exactly blame him because though there are obviously objectively much more disgusting things out there anything related to eyes just causes an extremely visceral reaction in me
>>34387578It's a pretty accurate depiction of what having contacts is like >>34387516anon I'm the same, I got flexi disposable contacts once and couldn't deal with putting them in/out. Literally half an hour in the bathroom, tears streaming to the point of my entire sinus cavity filled with fluid and snot dribbling out my nose. Every time the contact went anywhere near my eyeball it would flip inside out on my fingertip. The pain and frustration was not worth it, I look after my glasses better now.
You’re not actually touching your eyeball when you put them in, nor are you really touching your eyeball when you’re taking them out. You’re doing it wrong.
>>34387516The truth is Anon is that if you haven't gotten over it in the past 6 months, chances are you'll never get used to it. I also recently got contact lenses, and also had this issue when starting out. But I got over it in like 3 weeks. My advice would be to keep doing it and make sure your eyeball is moist, doing it with dry eyes def makes it harder.
>>34387516I don't even know what to tell you bro. It's either get used to it or don't wear contacts. This is one of those things where there is no middle ground.
>>34387516I just but the bullet and did Lasic, as long as your vision is relatively unchanged for two years you're eligible
>>34387516really good movie but the sequels suck
get lasik retard
>>34387516Damn. When I clicked on the thumbnail I was definitely NOT expecting such a detailed close up of his eye. Like even right down to the eye veins and redness and shit.
>>34390818pretty sure that's the point. to show off why dracula is so disgusted by seeing it. if it was just animated like any other scene then dracula's disgust wouldn't have made as much sense
when putting in pour like 2 or 3 drops of the liquid into the lens and it just gets into the eye on its own as soon as it meets your eye, no finger touching. some asians can blink their lenses out because of their eye shape, no touching, maybe do like chinese impression and blink very hard and theyll pop right off, just be careful not to lose them
>>34390818Ikr? It reminds me of one of those close up scenes from Spongebob or Ren and Stimpy.
>>34387516the health nut in me can't help but notice that when he pulls down his lower eyelid it's a very nice and red fleshy color. it means he absolutely does not have anemia
>>34391367Huh. A person seemingly unironically worried about the physical health of a cartoon character. That's a new one
>>34391442That's not even the weirdest part. I've met people who unironically value the lives of fictional characters more than the lives of their family members and acquaintances. Don't ask me how that works cuz I don't get it either. And I didn't say "family members and FRIENDS" because these people don't have friends. They are insufferable to be around and not even their family enjoys being around them.
>>34391631That's extremely retarded but not that surprising considering I've met people who admitted loud and proud that they'd rather save their pets over their friends and family members. Like I understand liking animals and all but people who brand themselves as animal lovers tend to be fucking insane. A lot of them also being vegan and/or vegetarian. Like I love my cat and all but if it was between saving my cat and my worst enemy I'd still save my worst enemy instead because human lives are just simply more important than animal lives period. Plus my worst enemy still has a beautiful family and kids who depend on them
>>34391631>>34391700while that's really sad and pathetic looking at it from more sympathetic lens a lot of those type of people were probably abused in their childhood and never had anyone to comfort them so now they're repulsed by humans in generalto a certain extent i almost can't blame them because there are a lot of shitty people in this world who are desperate to tear you downhowever most of these people are grown adults and if they're haven't outgrown this type of mindset by now they probably never will
>>34392424i was about to call you a retard until you got to this part>however most of these people are grown adults and if they're haven't outgrown this type of mindset by now they probably never willyup. up until age 16 or even a possible 17 or 18 if you're a late bloomer you have the excuse of being a dumb kid but if you're still in this mindset from age 19 onwards then there's truly no hope for you
>>34392492>up until age 16 or even a possible 17 or 18Not even dude. I'd personally say up until age 12 or 13. At ages 16 to 18 I never knew anyone that was that level of retarded. At least at ages 12 or 13 you're closer to a child than an adult being in middle school and all. However no high schooler should be that fucking retarded. High schoolers are basically mini adults in training deciding what they wanna do for the rest of their lives so they definitely shouldn't be that retarded unless we're of course talking about literal retards who have a developmental disability where their brain will forever be that of a small child and their parents have to take care of them their whole lives. But in this case we're talking about adults who don't have the disability and yet are completely delusional.
>>34387516It takes some desensitization to get used to it. Eventually you get adept enough at putting your finger only on the lens and not your eye. I struggled really hard with it when I was younger and my sister did it with ease I was so jealous. Just go slow and keep practicing. Make sure you put drops in throughout the day and prior to taking out.
>>34387516At first a read this as >Love contacts but can't stand touching my ballsHahah
>>34387516At first I read it as>Love contacts but hate touching my ballsHahah
>>34387516Have you tried not being a pussy
>>34393638>>34393667samefag and not even trying to be discreet about it
>>34387516if he's blue then why is his lower eyelid red and his eyes full of red veins
>>34396922He's not actually blue. He's a regular human. He was painted blue by Dracula so he could fit in with the Halloween monsters.
>>34387516If you struggle with something as basic as this then no idea how you're gonna deal with life when push really comes to shove.
>>34398570ikr. first world problems be like...
>>34398642For fucking real. Like he's so lucky to live in a country where contacts are so readily available in the first place. It's like some people don't have any problems so they start to make some up.
