Why do parents do this? They want me to be with them but then they do not care about my future at all… constantly asking when i go home to them then its like im stuck

>>34389263I do understand this, in the sense that my parents have never let me leave the house to study far away, or take a job that they believed was risky, or supported me professionally or academically if it wasn't something specific they wanted.I love them, they're hardworking and good and I know they worry, but I honestly all I wanted was some peace and quiet and my own space. I don't think that me living far away means that I automatically wouldn't keep in contact with them anymore.But like I said, your parents are probably just worried about you. Just talk with them calmly, be honest about how you feel, and try to find a solution. Don't take hasty decisions or be too emotional about stuff.
